About Us
The concept of an electronic health journal at the Fiji School of Medicine (FSMed) was inspired by the often unnoticed hard work of all Pacific health workers. The credit for the creation of Pacific Health Voices (PHV) goes to Dr. Berlin Kafoa who took on the challenge and coordinated the development of the PHV.  The PHV aims to capture the vast Pacific Health Literature that has not been made accessible to the world and profile Pacific people who have contributed and currently work in Pacific health. PHV provides an avenue for showing the world what Pacific people have written and are currently studying, thinking and writing about.

Mission:
To provide health information to the Pacific Region for the improvement of the people’s health.

Vision:
The vision of PHV is to be the “hub” of health information on and for the Pacific and to become the Pacific Region’s most influential and widely read health journal.
